How to Use:

1. For new wooden items, apply a thin layer of wood wax using a clean cloth.

2. Reapply monthly, or whenever the wood looks dry.

3. Avoid using vegetable oils—they can go rancid and cause unpleasant odors or flavors.

Below are tips on how to care for your wooden kitchenware: 

DO

• Wash your wooden items in hot soapy water immediately after use
• Pat dry with a cloth and let air dry
• Rub with a slice of lemon and allow to air dry if strong flavors have seeped into the wood
• Apply wax to the wood once in a while to prevent the wood from cracking or drying out

DON’T

• Put wood utensils or cutting boards into the dishwasher as this can cause them to crack
• Allow your wooden kitchenware to sit in water to soak for extended periods
